Alex Burgess I have just come off the phone from my mother Betty Guinness, and she has asked me to send these few words following the death of Alex. It was many years ago that mother and Des purchased a property on La Siesta , Javea, and the bond between the Burgess’s grew. Mother wishes to thank all the family for all the generosity, kindness, friendship,& love that they have shared together. Indeed life will not be the same. Sadly mother returned to the UK after a mugging in Javea , when we felt for her own safety this was best. We are so lucky that she has not had the ailments poor Alex had, and joins me in thanking you for the good times. Betty GuinnesS

Mum and Dad bought a plot in Javea and built a house. Mum was a big extrovert and quickly got to know people in Jávea and they built a second social life. Friends include, Betty Guinness (105) and Des (deceased) , Ross and Di, Paco (deceaseds) and Carmen, Isabel and Frecesco, Pepe & Adela. These people (and sorry if I have missed some ) were very fond of Mum . Mum is much loved and remembered in Javea.
